We offer this master class to local drummers of any age and genre as a unique opportunity to learn about the rich history of New Orleans rhythms from one of the greatest ambassadors of the Big Easy.

Renown drummer, Stanton Moore, will be representing his New Orleans roots, displaying his drum set alchemy of funk/ jazz/afro-Cuban grooves mixed with the indigenous rhythms of Africa.

Get involved in the preservation of New Orleans music and culture. Watch and learn as Stanton applies street beats, second line drumming, Mardi Gras Indians history, and the importance of clave to New Orleans drumming to modern funk, rock and jazz.
